So.. When we finally'll let this wiki out in the open: what should be on the main page? --Hampie 23:19, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
"Style" guidelines[]
Hi, I don't think there are any "style" rules? For example, see my edit on the Mnemonics page: on some wikis the first instance of the subject in the article is in bold, and it is not omitted. Oh, by the way, is "mnemonics" a singular or plural word? I may have gotten it wrong. Editor at CP 18:32, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- Another one: I took the liberty of redlinking a term, Indo-European in the Japanese page. On one hand too many redlinks are ugly, on the other they maybe encourage users to create them. Is there a policy on this? Editor at CP 20:31, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- I personally think that redlinking is a good way to make people write articles - and linking in general make it possible for people to easier discover things they might not have discovered else. --Hampie 17:55, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Security problems[]
Added a front-page warning about the security problems with HTLAL. We may want to use the wiki as a meeting place.
Once we know more, please feel free to delete this warning.
