TV series are a common and fun way to get many hours of listening practice. Their main advantage in comparison with movies is that you spend more hours with the main characters and can get used to their specific manner of speaking and focus more on the language itself and that the series usually turns around a central topic which leads to repeating vocabulary.

While there are people who totally refuse dubbing, it is often needed as there are not that many movies and tv shows original to some of the small languages. And the dubbing is said to be easier in a bit similar way to translated books being easier than the originals. There are vast differences among the dubbing quality.
