Essential Grammar in Use, English Grammar in Use, Advanced Grammar in Use[]
are the three volumes of probably the most popular series of grammars. Author of the first two (red and blue books) is Murphy, the third (green) does have another author but they all share the structure and style. Explanations and examples on the left page, exercises on the right page. A very good content/price ratio. The grammar included in the second book (English GiU, the blue one), is usually enough for the CAE exam.

is a huge book of Czech-English translation exercises. Several thousands of examples cover the English grammar and will surely make you leave your comfort zone.
